Terms and conditions

This is a translation for reference; the Spanish version governs, under Colombian law (Ley 1480 de 2011, Ley 1581 de 2012).

These terms govern your use of https://lio3d.com and any purchases, quotes and custom prints you order from us. By using the website, requesting a quote or placing an order, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

They are governed by Colombian law, in particular the Consumer Protection Statute (Estatuto del Consumidor, Ley 1480 de 2011), the e-commerce law (Ley 527 de 1999) and Decreto 1074 de 2015. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

1. Who we are

2. Our products and 3D printing

Our products are made by 3D printing, almost always after you place your order. That is why it is normal for them to have:

  • Visible layer lines and small support marks.
  • Slight variations in size (up to ±1 mm or ±2%) and in shade between filament batches.
  • Colors that look slightly different from your screen.

Store photos are for illustration purposes. These characteristics, inherent to the technique, are not considered defects.

Care: most parts are made of PLA, which warps with heat (above 50 °C / 122 °F, for example inside a car in the sun, in the dishwasher or near a stove). Unless we expressly state otherwise, parts are not suitable for repeated food contact, medical use, or load-bearing or safety-critical functions.

Children: several products contain small parts. They are not suitable for children under 3 due to choking hazard. Toys should be used under adult supervision.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in Colombian pesos (COP) and are the final product price, including any applicable taxes.
  • Shipping is not included. We will tell you the shipping cost before you confirm your order.
  • Placing an order on the website does not charge you anything. We will contact you to confirm availability, shipping and payment method. The order is confirmed once we receive the payment or the agreed deposit.
  • If a published price contains an obvious error (for example, a missing zero), we will let you know before charging you and you may cancel at no cost.
  • We honor the price we confirmed to you even if it later changes on the website.

4. Quotes and made-to-order printing

  • Quotes are free and valid for 15 calendar days. If the dimensions, material, quantity or file change, the price may change.
  • For made-to-order parts, we may ask for a deposit of up to 50% before we start.
  • If you send us your own file or design, you represent that you are its author or have permission to print it. You are responsible to third parties for any intellectual property claim regarding that file.
  • We may decline a job, for example weapons or weapon parts, parts that copy protected brands or characters without authorization, or illegal or offensive content.
  • For replacement and functional parts, we print according to your measurements and instructions. Before using the part, check that it is fit for your intended purpose.

5. Production and delivery times

  • The production time is shown on each product or in your quote and runs from payment confirmation. It is an estimate. If there is a delay, we will let you know and, if the new date does not work for you, you may cancel and we will refund what you paid.
  • Orders are shipped through a carrier. Transit time depends on the carrier and your city.
  • Please make sure your address is correct. If a shipment is returned because of an incorrect address or because nobody was available to receive it, the cost of reshipping is on you.
  • Inspect the package upon delivery. If it arrives damaged, take photos and contact us within 3 days so we can file the claim with the carrier.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you bought through the online store, you may withdraw from the purchase within 5 business days after delivery (article 47 of Ley 1480 de 2011):

  • Contact us within that period and return the product unused, in the same condition and with its packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are on you.
  • We will refund everything you paid within 30 calendar days, with no deductions or withholdings.

As permitted by the same law, this right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized:

  • Parts printed from your file, idea or measurements.
  • Products with a name, text or color of your choice.
  • Augmented reality keychains.

7. Payment reversal

If you paid by credit card, debit card or another electronic payment method, you may request a payment reversal (article 51 of Ley 1480 de 2011) in these cases:

  • You were the victim of fraud.
  • The transaction was not requested.
  • The product was not received.
  • The product does not match what you ordered or is defective.

To request it:

  1. Submit your complaint to us within 5 business days after you become aware of the situation.
  2. Request the reversal from the issuer of your payment method.
  3. If applicable, return the product.

8. Warranty

We stand behind the quality, fitness and safety of our products (articles 7 et seq. of Ley 1480 de 2011). The warranty lasts three (3) months from delivery, unless the product page or the quote states a different period, and covers manufacturing defects.

It does not cover damage caused by:

  • Misuse, impacts or drops.
  • Exposure to heat or sunlight.
  • Use other than as intended.
  • Modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear.

To make a warranty claim, contact us with photos of the problem. We will respond within 15 business days. Depending on the case, we will repair or reprint the part. If that is not possible, we will replace it or refund your money.

9. Augmented reality (arpix)

The augmented reality experience runs on the arpix.app platform. It depends on that platform's availability and on your phone's compatibility. Any video or content you provide for the experience must be yours or used with permission, and may not be illegal or offensive.

10. Intellectual property

The text, photos, logos and design of this website belong to Lío Impresión 3D or are used under license. You may not copy them for commercial purposes without authorization. Some products are based on third-party designs used in accordance with their licenses.

If you believe a product infringes your rights, email us at hola@lio3d.com and we will review it right away.

11. Liability

We do our best to keep the website running smoothly and its information accurate, but it may experience interruptions or inaccuracies. We are not liable for damage resulting from using parts in a way other than as intended.

This clause does not limit the legal warranty or any other right the law grants you as a consumer.

12. Requests, complaints and claims

You can submit requests, complaints or claims by email (hola@lio3d.com) or WhatsApp (+573001152951). We will respond within 15 business days.

If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, Colombia's consumer protection authority (www.sic.gov.co).

13. Personal data and cookies

We process your data in accordance with our privacy policy and use cookies as explained in our cookie policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will publish the new version here, with its date. Your order is governed by the terms in effect when you placed it.
