We print them in PLA, a rigid, lightweight plastic: a 1.6 m scepter weighs about 670 g. It can be sanded and painted over primer.

They hold up to a convention or a photo shoot. Long props have an internal rod so the joints don't bend. They aren't made for hitting or combat, and it's best not to leave them in a car in the sun: heat warps PLA.

Do you deliver them painted?

Yes, if you ask: sanding, primer, hand painting and clear coat. You can also get it in one color, unpainted, or in multicolor pieces, unpainted.

How long does a cosplay prop take?

As a guide, a large unpainted prop takes 5 to 7 days and a hand-painted one about 2 weeks. We confirm the exact date when we quote.

Can you print a file I bought?

Yes. Send us the file you bought (STL, OBJ or 3MF) and we'll print it for you in the size and finish you choose. If you don't have a file, we'll go over the options with you using reference images.

What we print

Props made to fit the person wearing them, printed in PLA. Anything that doesn't fit in the printer is split into pieces that are then assembled.

Life-size weapons and scepters: Swords, spears, staffs and scepters at the character's size, with an internal rod in the longest ones.
Helmets and masks: With your head measurement, we adjust the scale before printing.
Armor pieces: Pauldrons, bracers, chest plates and other parts of the costume.
Accessories: Crowns, emblems, badges and other character details.
Collectible replicas: Small versions of props to display on a shelf or a desk.

Three finishes

Choose the finish based on how you'll use it, your timeline and your budget.

One color, unpainted: The piece comes out in the filament color you choose. It's the fastest option and a good base if you'd rather paint it yourself.
Multicolor pieces, unpainted: Many designs come split by color: we print each piece in its own color, and once assembled, the prop shows its colors without any paint.
Hand-painted: We sand, apply primer, paint by hand and seal with clear coat. It's the finish closest to the character and the one that takes the longest.
